Stories of Success: 3rd in a series of female entrepreneurs.
Maryam Siahatgar: SIA Brands, Inc.
The success story of a young, immigrant girl from Iran with Big Dreams.
We all know that women have great powers of creativity and resilience. In these series we speak with women who have identified their purpose and have extraordinary faith in
their dream.
From ordinary 9-5 jobs that no longer fulfill purpose and ignite passion, these tenacious female entrepreneurs have made their move: some bold, some strategic and calculated but always with that one common ingredient uniting them all...the LEAP. The leap they all had to take: The Leap of Faith.
Meet Maryam Siahatgar. A young girl who fled warn-torn Iran. Against all odds, destiny and God’s grace granted her a ticket to America which she never took for granted. She came to the U.S. as a refugee and a dream that burned bright.
With sheer hard work, vision and determination, today Maryam is the founder and creative designer of SIA Brands, Inc. Passionate, intuitive and a visionary, Maryam has conceptualized and executed brands for several businesses and is recognized for her success in delivering fully integrated branding experiences. With over 10 years of experience, she believes great design starts with values, a creative mind, and a heart that is ready to connect.
Outside the office, you may find her traveling, zenned out on yoga, and exploring the best local restaurants. Her influences are nature, bright colors, clean design, and the belief that “less is more.” Maryam holds a BFA in Visual Communications from California State Long Beach.
“Authenticity is my highest value, being connected to who I really am. I strive to inspire and venture to be inspired.”
